ARCHITECTURE FOR HUMANITY

Thoughts about the world of architecture was not only conceptualize, design, create a cool and majestic buildings. Quote youtube video titled 2007 Aga Khan Award for Architecture for Architecture_Rudrapur School and Humanity_Frontline, opened my eyes that architecture also pro-nature with the fair, besides being a tool for man to prosper him.  Many things can be applied in the presence of natural events. Natural disasters that come suddenly flatten the primary building of the victims. This is where architects play an important role to change and improve the building in accordance with culture, nature and needs of the people who inhabit it.Architects do for his clients according to their circumstances. Example in the video, the people on the coast.    The architect studied the life of the community, so he knows what needs fixing and even altered. Not only designing the course, the architect also resemble the design on society by living in their culture. So communication skills are needed, especially architecture for humanity. Not simply come, building, go, but the architect must also have a high sense of togetherness, trying to make society a better target than before.  Likewise with the video of the 2nd, architects see in terms of culture and economic capabilities are less than people in the area. The architect was not memillih building materials are generally sturdier than bamboo and wood. But the architects view of culture and style of buildings that dominate the area. Bamboo and wood is the choice. Besides low cost, these materials also have elements of the building (structure) strong, durable, and earthquake resistant. It is suitable when used as building materials in the area.  Architects also did not see in terms of economy. The architect makes the building by minimizing the power. Given that school buildings are used only in the morning and afternoon. He put the lighting and air circulation arrangement is designed in such a way of bamboo and wood materials, making it very uncomfortable when people are in it than to learn, play and rest.

An Architect for humanitarian assistance does not provide a magnificent and expensive design, no design also provides the crude and cheap, but the architects to put forward how the design is acceptable according to the needs of the community, so they feel comfortable and proud of the changes have been made.
